Spoleto Celebration Concert

After the great success of last year’s 40th-Season Celebration Concert, Spoleto Festival USA again plumbs the depths of its rich history in a jubilant evening of music making. Join artists from every corner of the Festival’s musical offerings—the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra, Westminster Choir, and musicians from the Bank of America Chamber Music series—for a performance led by conductor Anne Manson (Kát’a Kabanová, 2014; Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra Concert, 2012). Rediscover Charleston composer Edmund Thornton Jenkins, whose Afram ou La Belle Swita had its world premiere during the 2016 season, as well as arias from Mozart and Puccini. These and a few surprises will make for a joyous evening of memories and merriment.
